  Extremely nice hotel with a very well presented feel to it. It is in a part of Dublin that is really nice to walk around. Can be a little expensive but is worth the price because of the location. Room was very well presented too. Would visit again.

  My stay at the Clayton Hotel was a very pleasant experience. The staff was super attentive and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The lobby, halls and room were very clean. The included breakfast had a wide variety of choices. They recently renovated and installed new rugs in the hallways so there was a strong "new rug" smell but I am sure that will dissipate as time goes by. I needed an electric adapter and someone from the reception desk promptly brought one up to me. I was having a problem getting it to work, and they came back up to my room to help me. They were also very accommodating in helping me with transportation to and from the main city center. Surprisingly, the cost was much less than the other hotels in the area. When I return to Dublin, I will definitely use this hotel again.

  This hotel is comfortable and staff very friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction work going on at the time of my visit and I'm afraid at times I found this very loud and disruptive. I was woken up a few times by construction work starting very early in the morning, and once by a painter outside my room taping up my door. On this day the smell of paint was definitely affecting my room. There were builders around the hotel reception area for numerous days and on the whole the hotel seemed quite chaotic. I feel for the staff working during this time, and think the hotel probably should have closed while they got this work done.

  Very nice renovated hotel. We got a free upgrade to an executive suite for our honeymoon, which was very luxurious. The hotel restaurant was good if you do not wish to go out; the bar being better than the restaurant itself. The only problem I didn't like was they make you pay for overnight parking, even when you are already paying for an overnight stay.

  We found the personnel at the Reception Desk to be very helpful. Our room was nicely appointed. The beds were very comfortable. The room and bath had lovely finishes and were very clean. Location was great for walking to local amenities. The breakfast buffet had everything available that one could possibly eat for breakfast...and then some...
